Job Description

The Director of Media Operations will design and scale the systems that will help Owner grow its audience, acquire more customers, and strengthen its movement and community. This role will make the media engine run smoother, faster, and better on the way to building a generational company.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the VP of Media on Media Team org planning and growth
  • Define an ongoing strategy for prioritization of organic channels
  • Identify key hiring and resourcing needs
  • Architect and lead the operational backbone of Owner’s media organization
  • Manage vendor relationships and deliverables
  • Build systems, dashboards, and automations
  • Ensure media teams are ahead of the ball on media inputs and outputs
  • Create real-time reporting infrastructure
  • Hit clear KPIs, increase publishing frequency, raise asset quality, and reduce redundant work

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in media operations, project management, or technical operations
  • 2+ years managing cross-functional projects or teams
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (ClickUp, Notion, or Asana)
  • Experience with automation tools (Zapier, Airtable)
  • Proven ability to identify bottlenecks and build scalable workflows
  • Strong analytical instincts with experience designing dashboards or automated reporting
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
