Job Description

Contentful is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth by managing the full sales cycle for new and existing enterprise accounts. This consultative role requires a deep understanding of the Martech/DXP ecosystem and value-based selling, with a focus on building relationships and enabling customers to realize the full value of Contentful's platform.

Responsibilities

  • Source, position, negotiate, and close new and expansion business
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Execute and document the MEDPICC sales methodology
  • Lead value-based consultative sales engagements
  • Develop and present compelling proposals
  • Manage RFI/RFQ processes
  • Refine and evolve the land-and-expand model
  • Partner with Sales Engineers, BDRs, and Customer Success
  • Understand digital experience challenges and content workflows
  • Partner with Customer Success and Marketing

Requirements

  • 4-8+ years selling enterprise SaaS or PaaS platforms in Martech, CMS, or personalization
  • Experience with MEDPICC sales qualification framework
  • History of quota overachievement with $150K+ transactions
  • Advanced skills in value-based selling
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing technology
  • Expertise working within a partner ecosystem
  • Experience growing existing customer accounts
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of sales-led growth motions
  • CMS sales experience preferred
