xAI is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) to support the design, evaluation, and upkeep of electrical systems powering their facilities. The role involves working with seasoned engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable, safe, and scalable power distribution and backup systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design meetings for electrical systems
• Assist in conducting feasibility studies
• Support system installation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Assist in managing maintenance schedules
• Contribute to troubleshooting power issues
• Support analysis and forecasting of power needs
• Work closely with senior engineers
• Support project management
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Promote a safe working environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in data center operations or electrical engineering
• Basic knowledge of data center electrical systems
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SKM
• Interest in project management
