xAI is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Memphis, TN to handle routine and critical maintenance tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of their data center infrastructure. The role involves hands-on execution, process adherence, and collaboration to maintain high reliability in support of xAI’s AI advancements.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-critical maintenance (doors, upkeep, landscaping)
• Assist in operation of critical equipment under supervision
• Perform limited maintenance on offline critical equipment
• Conduct daily inspections and report issues
• Maintain spare parts inventory
• Follow SOPs
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance
• Collaborate with teams for maintenance and installations
• Document work performed
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs

Requirements

• 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience (data center preferred)
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems
• Proficiency with hand/power tools
• Troubleshooting skills
• Communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management skills
