xAI is seeking a Software Engineer to focus on Fraud Engineering for a new payments platform serving over 600 million monthly users. The role involves designing and implementing systems to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud in real time, working at the intersection of security, distributed systems, and product engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fraud detection and prevention systems
• Develop risk scoring engines and anomaly detection pipelines
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and infrastructure teams
