xAI is seeking a skilled Application Security Engineer to ensure the security and integrity of their cloud-native applications and systems throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on code security, CI/CD pipelines, and emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews and static analysis
• Design and implement secure coding guidelines
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments
• Manage vulnerability tracking and remediation
• Support incident response
• Stay current on security threats
• Evaluate and secure software supply chains

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in application security
• Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10
• Proficiency in Python or Rust
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with software supply chain security
• Experience with security testing tools
