Job Description

JMA is seeking an experienced Senior IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise systems across Linux and Windows environments, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with frameworks like CMMC, SOC2, and ISO 27001. The role requires a hands-on individual with strong technical skills and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain virtualization platforms and physical infrastructure
• Manage and maintain key IT infrastructure systems on-premises, off site, and/or as-a-service
• Ensure availability, reliability, performance, and security of servers, storage, and networked systems
• Implement and enforce compliance controls related to CMMC, SOC2, or other relevant frameworks
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot system-related issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align system infrastructure with organizational goals
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and compliance controls
• Keep current with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Assist with internal and external audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field is desired
• 6+ years experience in systems administration of Windows and Linux environments
• Enterprise and Open-Source SAN experience
• Virtualization and clustering experience
• Experience in enterprise backup and replication
• M365/Azure/Intune experience
• Enterprise Email Filtering experience
• Administration of Enterprise Tools such as SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM, Ansys, Mastercam, CST and Siemens PADs
• Linux Administration
• Management and Administration of Teams Rooms and conference systems
• AD/GPO Experience
• Experience setting up and maintaining both physical and virtual server environments
• Experience in system monitoring and maintenance
• Disaster Recovery and High Availability experience
• Executive White Glove support
• Patch Deployment/Management
