Job Description

Maven is seeking a Head of Instructor Acquisition to own and scale the top of the instructor funnel, driving awareness and intent among experts in tech and beyond. This role combines strategic positioning with high-touch execution, focusing on building a strong instructor-facing brand and activating a powerful ecosystem to expand Maven's reach and reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop instructor-facing brand strategy
  • Define instructor value proposition
  • Craft compelling narratives and positioning
  • Activate and nurture a community of influencers
  • Lead instructor-facing content strategy
  • Scale high-quality inbound instructor interest
  • Ideate and launch targeted campaigns
  • Conduct customer research and insights
  • Refine targeting strategies

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in marketing (acquisition marketing, GTM, brand, community)
  • Portfolio demonstrating taste, storytelling, and strategic clarity
  • Familiarity with the tech ecosystem
  • Fluency in qualitative research and data-driven optimization
  • Proven success launching new programs
  • Experience marketing to high-trust audiences
  • Comfort operating with autonomy and speed
