Job Description

Semgrep is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to build customer-facing integrations that help application security teams prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities. The role involves collaborating with product managers and engineers, architecting systems for sensitive data, and influencing the direction of the product.

Responsibilities

• Work on product initiatives end-to-end
• Set technical and product direction
• Learn from users and build products to help them
• Develop intuitive APIs
• Ensure high-availability operation of services
• Advise and mentor other engineers

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience writing production software
• Experience building web applications with Python, Javascript, and Postgres
• Experience building 3rd party integrations
• Experience with ClickHouse or building reporting/analytics solutions
• Excellent communication skills
