Semgrep is seeking an AI Product Engineer to integrate cutting-edge AI/ML tools into their Code product, enhancing software security for developers. The role involves developing AI-powered features, collaborating with various teams, and shaping the future of code analysis.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI platform APIs into the Code product
• Develop and refine LLM prompt chains
• Experiment with AI/ML advances
• Evaluate and fine-tune ML models
• Learn from users to deliver features
• Work on product initiatives end-to-end
• Contribute to technical discussions and mentoring

Requirements

• 8+ years of production software experience
• Curiosity and love of new technologies, especially AI/ML
• Experience with GPT-4/GPT-5, Codex, Claude, or other LLMs
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Python skills
• Interest in prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases
• Excellent communication skills
