Job Description

Semgrep is seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to grow the sales pipeline by prospecting into new accounts. The role involves collaborating with the AE team, nurturing customer relationships, and partnering with Marketing to establish new customer connections, leveraging performance data and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Generate interest, qualify leads, and convert them into prospective customers
  • Achieve and exceed quota, territory revenue, and growth objectives
  • Provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to Account Executives
  • Identify and analyze target prospects
  • Utilize sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Outreach
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a quota-based Sales or Business Development role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to learn standardized processes
  • Growth mindset and ability to act on feedback
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
