Semgrep is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to work directly with customers, integrating their products and services, and ensuring maximum value delivery. The role involves technical expertise, customer engagement, and contributing to the platform's evolution through customer feedback and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on Semgrep and its integration into the software development lifecycle
  • Scope and own customer engagements with clear objectives
  • Articulate the platform's differentiation to customers
  • Act as a thought leader, educating and sharing best practices
  • Minimize customer friction through automation and content creation
  • Share customer feedback to influence the product roadmap
  • Contribute to building a world-class solutions engineering organization

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in solving challenging technical problems
  • 8+ years of pre-sales, customer success, or support experience
  • Experience communicating with executives and managing sales cycles
  • Deep understanding of developer workflows and CI/CD environments
  • Exposure to application security and static analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
