Job Description

Apollo.io is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and build the data infrastructure and APIs powering their analytics, machine learning, and product features. This role involves developing scalable data pipelines, managing cloud-native data platforms, and creating high-performance APIs using FastAPI.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable data pipelines
• Develop and maintain high-performance APIs using FastAPI
• Design and manage cloud-based data infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams
• Monitor data flows and platform services
• Implement observability and alerting
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies
• Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews
• Document work and champion best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in platform/data engineering
• Experience in building data applications
• Deep knowledge of data ecosystem
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools
