Job Description

The Head of Renewals will lead the renewals function, ensuring predictable recurring revenue and an exceptional customer renewal experience. This role involves managing a team, cross-functional partnerships, and ownership of the renewals strategy, forecasting, and execution across all customer segments.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the renewals strategy
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Legal
  • Build and maintain renewal playbooks and forecasting models
  • Forecast renewal revenue accurately
  • Analyze churn and retention data
  • Lead contract negotiation and pricing discussions
  • Drive automation and process efficiency
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS renewals, account management, or customer success
  • 3+ years leading teams
  • Proven track record of achieving renewal and retention targets
  • Experience scaling a renewals function
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce, CPQ, Gainsight, or similar tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
