Job Description

The Lead Fraud Operations Analyst at Apollo will be responsible for leading fraud investigations, detection, and prevention operations across the company's SaaS platform. This role requires a technical background, data-driven investigation skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard customers and systems from abuse and fraud.

Responsibilities

• Lead fraud operations and investigations
• Perform root-cause analysis of fraud events
• Develop and optimize fraud detection systems
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Security teams
• Mentor and train Fraud Analysts and other teams
• Design KYC/KYB verification workflows
• Maintain documentation and playbooks

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fraud operations or security operations
• Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with Python
• Experience reviewing or debugging application code (Ruby preferred)
• Familiarity with payment systems and fraud lifecycle
• Understanding of fraud detection models
• Ability to lead investigations independently
• Exceptional communication skills
• Comfortable working remotely
