Job Description

Relyance AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, ML to drive initiatives in NLP for information extraction from legal documents and code, as well as general ML in code analysis. The role involves strategizing, executing, and designing scalable AI features, working with LLMs, and building data curation/model training workflows. The ideal candidate will be a key member of a team building a complex, evolving system.

Responsibilities

• Strategize using ML/NLP experience to evolve AI capabilities
• Create practical ML/NLP solutions with customer-centric prioritization
• Partner with engineering teams to implement features end-to-end
• Architect systems balancing current needs with future NLP/ML techniques
• Automate and build tools to lower operational barriers
• Solve complex problems with pragmatic solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building ML/NLP solutions
• Expert proficiency in Python, Java, C#, C++, Scala, etc.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and OO software design skills
• Ability to learn and operate across full stack
• Creative and strategic thinking with a focus on robust solutions
• “Get stuff done” attitude and hands-on approach
• Track record of influencing product direction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
