Life360 is seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, focusing on financial close excellence and operational efficiency. The role involves streamlining close cycles, implementing process improvements, mentoring a team, and tackling complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close process
• Oversee general ledger activities
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls
• Oversee expense trend analysis
• Support annual audits
• Review financial statements
• Partner with cross-functional departments
• Implement process improvements
• Drive adoption of automation and AI
• Provide team leadership and performance management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3-5+ years managing accounting teams
• Proven track record of leading financial close
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Netsuite experience required
• FloQast preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and G-Suite
• Comfortable with AI-assisted accounting
