Job Description

Nevados is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the detailed design and optimization phase of solar projects, managing the transition from development to construction and coordinating with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality engineering packages on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer communication during engineering and design
• Gather and coordinate technical details
• Lead customer meetings
• Manage deliverables for permitting and procurement
• Provide design support for layouts and construction documents
• Coordinate internal teams
• Support project and construction teams
• Review and validate engineering drawings
• Identify and resolve project risks
• Maintain project documentation
• Produce project drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Collaborate to refine templates and develop automation tools
• Contribute to product development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in utility-scale solar or renewable energy
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and solar tracker design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Experience with topography, hydrology, and value engineering
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication skills
