Job Description

Nevados is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial organization and guide the company's growth in the solar tracker industry. This role involves shaping financial strategy, strengthening operational discipline, and providing leadership across budgeting, forecasting, and investor relations, with a focus on scaling a renewable energy company.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term financial strategy
• Partner with CEO on corporate strategy
• Establish company KPIs
• Manage finance and accounting team
• Lead capital planning
• Manage lender relationships
• Own investor reporting
• Manage cash forecast
• Lead budgeting and forecasting
• Develop financial models
• Present financial insights to leadership
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain
• Collaborate with project delivery
• Support product cost-down initiatives
• Ensure financial statement compliance
• Improve month-end close efficiency
• Work with external auditors
• Partner with external tax firm
• Drive implementation of financial systems
• Ensure data integrity and forecasting accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
• 10–15+ years of progressive finance leadership
• Experience in solar, renewable energy, hardware manufacturing, or construction/EPC
• Success leading financial planning
• Advanced expertise in financial modeling tools
• Ability to influence executive decision-making
• Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills
