Topaz Labs is seeking a Generative AI Researcher to develop and explore GAN and diffusion-based generative AI technologies for image and video enhancement and editing. The role involves improving inference and memory efficiency while maintaining performance, collaborating with a world-class team, and contributing directly to the company's future growth.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop GAN and diffusion-based generative AI technologies
• Improve inference and memory efficiency
• Conduct research on image/video enhancement, processing, and editing
• Collaborate with other researchers
• Stay updated on recent research papers

Requirements

• PhD in a related field or equivalent experience
• Significant research experience with GAN or diffusion models
• Experience with model distillation, quantization, and pruning
• 2+ years of experience with PyTorch and Python
• Working knowledge of C/C++
• Strong work ethic and intellectual humility
• Shipping mentality
