Job Description

The Senior IT Engineer will support critical IT initiatives, including network upgrades, building and managing compute and storage clusters, and providing technical assistance. Responsibilities include ensuring network stability, implementing security measures, automating system deployments, and supporting engineering and research teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and expand high-performance networks, computing, and storage
• Lead security initiatives and ensure compliance
• Oversee incident response planning and execution
• Manage a fleet of linux servers
• Automate network and server deployments
• Manage documentation of Network and Server infrastructure
• Coordinate with facility management
• Continuously look for opportunities to automate and improve systems

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with a customer service mindset
• Experience building high performance compute clusters
• Experience developing and scaling highly available storage clusters
• Experience with container orchestration
• Experience working with multiple cloud providers
• Open-minded and collaborative team player
• Proven experience establishing and automating IT processes
• Proven experience setting up scalable networks
• Experience managing hybrid device environments
