Job Description

Waabi is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to focus on verifying the safety and functionality of their autonomous vehicle platform. The role involves creating and executing tests, developing fault injection tools, and collaborating with hardware, software, and operations teams to ensure a strong safety case for their self-driving technology.

Responsibilities

• Creating verification plans based on requirements
• Developing and documenting tests
• Executing tests
• Developing fault injection tools
• Owning platform requirements and verification methods
• Defining simulator improvements
• Writing and tracking tests
• Implementing automation tools
• Working with external partners

Requirements

• Undergrad required, Masters or PhD preferred
• 3+ years of automotive, robotics, or related industry experience
• Experience with requirements-specifications and metrics
• Knowledge of the autonomous vehicle stack
• Systems engineering and verification/validation experience
• Experience with vehicle test campaigns
• Functional safety experience (ISO 26262)
• Strong math, engineering, and physics fundamentals
• Data analysis skills (Python or Matlab)
• Experience with vehicle actuation
