Job Description

Bright Machines is seeking a Senior or Lead Manufacturing Engineer to manage end-to-end engineering activities related to production readiness, continuous improvement, and product industrialization at their electronics manufacturing site. This role focuses on server assembly and rack-level systems, integrating responsibilities across various engineering disciplines and driving improvements in efficiency and yield.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and optimization of manufacturing processes
  • Define and implement standard work and tooling
  • Deploy lean manufacturing principles
  • Manage production line capacity planning
  • Drive line design and space optimization
  • Provide factory-level product ownership
  • Coordinate with Test, Quality, and Maintenance
  • Support root cause analysis and ECN implementation
  • Lead engineering deliverables for builds
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment for product ramp-up
  • Manage engineering BOM setup
  • Collaborate on automation opportunities
  • Oversee project timelines and resource allocation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in related Engineering field
  • 7+ years of experience in electronics or server manufacturing
  • Proven success in high-mix production environments
  • Hands-on experience with NPI programs and lean manufacturing tools
  • Working knowledge of BOM management and MES systems
  • Strong communication skills
