Job Description

Bright Machines is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced robotic automation systems. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative automation solutions and transform the future of manufacturing with intelligent, software-driven automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to define system requirements and specifications
• Integrate hardware and software components into functional systems
• Create PFMEA, process flow and value stream maps
• Develop and execute test plans
• Ensure design metrics are met
• Define solution requirements and drive projects to success
• Travel up to 40%, primarily domestically

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of systems engineering experience in automation and lean engineering
• Proven ability to demonstrate experience through projects
• Strong technical skills with a systems-level mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze technical documents and translate requirements
