Job Description

Varo is seeking a Treasury Manager to lead their Asset Liability Management strategy, manage risk metrics, develop financial models, oversee the investment portfolio, and contribute to forecasting and stress testing. The role involves presenting to executives and coordinating with other finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Asset Liability Management strategy
• Manage and report on risk metrics
• Develop and run cash flow, balance sheet, and interest rate risk models
• Manage the firm’s investment portfolio
• Contribute to forecasting and stress testing
• Lead Asset Liability Committee meetings
• Present to executives and board of directors
• Coordinate with accounting and FP&A
• Handle ad-hoc requests and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• 5+ Years Treasury experience at a Bank
• Experience managing cash, liquidity, fixed income investments, and interest rate risk
• Knowledgeable with statistical methods
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Python, SQL, Bloomberg
• Self starter and curious person
