Job Description

The Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Manager will lead the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of Terraformation’s M&E framework across all projects and partners. This role focuses on harmonizing indicators, strengthening M&E capacity, and ensuring data-driven decision-making, reporting, and learning. It's a cross-functional position bridging Operations, Project Management, Product, and Communications.

Responsibilities

• Refine and implement a portfolio-wide M&E framework
• Maintain and improve standard M&E tools
• Integrate core indicators into Terraware
• Provide support to design project-level M&E plans
• Ensure alignment of workplans, budgets, and Theories of Change
• Build partner and internal team capacity
• Guide projects on data collection and analysis
• Feed evidence into quarterly reviews
• Collaborate with Finance, Grants, and Communications for reporting

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in M&E systems for complex programs
• Strong expertise in results-based management (RBM)
• Ability to design portfolio-wide M&E frameworks
• Proven facilitation and capacity-building skills
• Strong written, analytical, and communication abilities
• Familiarity with carbon projects or ecosystem restoration is desirable
