Job Description

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a licensed child & adolescent clinical therapist to support their Behavioral Health Acute Care Team. This role involves providing brief, targeted therapeutic interventions via teletherapy for acute pediatric patients experiencing crisis situations such as suicidality, homicidality, and psychosis, as well as supporting hospital follow-up stabilization programs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide brief therapeutic interventions via teletherapy
• Conduct crisis assessment and intervention
• Treat patients with various mental health diagnoses
• Implement safety measures
• Safety plan for least restrictive environment
• Refer patients to emergency resources
• Conduct psychosocial assessments for hospitalization follow-up
• Collaborate with behavioral health manager and crisis team
• Care coordination

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related area
• Independent practice license in MO, NC, LA, or GA (LCSW preferred)
• 1-2 years’ experience post-licensure in behavioral health
• 1 year of crisis experience
• Certification in CBT or DBT
• Experience with high-risk behavioral health populations
• Comfort with triage assessments and crisis interventions
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and caregivers
• Experience with diverse populations
• Telehealth experience
• Familiarity with technology and electronic health records
• Availability 10:30 am - 7:00pm CST/EST
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
