Job Description

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a Manager, Actuarial Services to lead an actuarial team in conducting analytics for business-critical initiatives, particularly within a value-based care model for pediatric Medicaid. This role involves savings calculations, IBNR estimates, reporting financial and clinical results, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop processes for value-based arrangement performance measurement
• Manage monthly IBNR estimates
• Partner with Healthcare Economics team to demonstrate client value
• Analyze profitability by duration, acuity, and resource allocation
• Monitor performance against forecasts
• Prepare analyses for shared savings settlement discussions

Requirements

• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of health actuarial experience
• 2+ years of Medicaid managed care experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior leadership experience preferred
