Job Description

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to develop, maintain, and mature their backend systems and architecture, enabling seamless care for children with special health care needs. The role involves designing and building scalable applications, integrating third-party services, and collaborating within a remote Product Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend applications, microservices, and APIs
• Implement third-party integrations and external APIs
• Ensure backend systems are secure and well-documented
• Develop and deliver client-facing features
• Collaborate in a cross-disciplinary team
• Communicate with stakeholders
• Estimate product scope and timelines
• Work on various parts of the stack as needed

Requirements

• Deep understanding of cloud-based services and data structures
• Collaborative approach to API design
• Experience with NodeJS/Typescript, AWS, Terraform, and React
• Strong understanding of production system layers
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure
• Experience building scalable backend services
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Healthcare/virtual care experience preferred
• Understanding of web/mobile use cases
