Job Description

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain information security technologies. This role involves responding to security alerts, interpreting logs, creating incident response procedures, and monitoring the threat landscape to protect the organization's systems and data, particularly within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security technology
• Ensure alignment with industry standards (CIS, HIPAA, NIST, OWASP, HITRUST)
• Integrate systems with SIEM
• Respond to security alerts
• Interpret log outputs
• Create and test incident response procedures
• Monitor cyber security intelligence
• Resolve security threats
• Execute security control initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant security certification(s) preferred (GIAC, CISSP, CISA, etc.)
• 6+ years of experience in Information Security
• Experience with AI tools for security automation
• HITRUST and HIPAA experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft InTune, EntraID, JAMF, Meraki, JIRA
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of access control, encryption, and cloud services
