Job Description

Reserv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Team Lead to oversee a team adjusting New York Labor Law and Commercial General Liability claims. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve claims processes and outcomes. The Team Lead will balance management responsibilities with individual claim handling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee New York Labor Law and Commercial General Liability adjusting staff
• Provide coaching and feedback
• Serve as backup for Claims Manager
• Onboard new hires
• Handle escalated claims
• Implement best practices for claims handling
• Prepare claims reports and analyses
• Foster a positive work environment
• Attract, hire, and train team members
• Identify trends for team discussions

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial general liability claims experience
• Knowledge of New York Labor Law
• Active adjuster license
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Comfort with technology
• Commitment to quality and accuracy
• Strong ethics and accountability
