Job Description

Reserv is seeking a Large Loss/Complex Commercial Property Adjuster to manage high-value, high-complexity commercial property claims. The role involves investigating losses, assessing damages, resolving claims, and leveraging a cutting-edge platform with data-driven tools, while working with internal teams, insureds, brokers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to policyholders and claimants
• Gather claim information and explain policy coverage
• Manage claim inventory and establish reserves
• Investigate coverage and adjust commercial property loss claims
• Write appraisals or coordinate with field appraisers
• Explain coverage and assist with damage itemization
• Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys
• Provide input for claims guidelines and process improvements
• Oversee outside investigative service providers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active insurance adjuster’s license
• Minimum 5 years of property claims experience
• Commercial property claims experience
• Desk and/or field appraisal experience
• Willingness to obtain licenses within 60 days
• Knowledge of state regulations and policy provisions
• Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions
• Problem-solving skills and a desire for continuous development
• Willingness to travel
