Gearbox Entertainment is seeking a Senior Sound Designer to create high-quality sound effects for their video games. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sound, collaborative, and eager to contribute to the development of award-winning game franchises.

Responsibilities

• Design, mix, and edit sound effects
• Perform Foley and field recording
• Implement audio assets into Wwise and Unreal Engine 5
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams
• Manage tasks and track bugs using JIRA
• Deliver high-quality audio assets on time
• Contribute to team initiatives and troubleshoot audio issues

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in sound design
• Proficient in mixing, editing, Foley, and audio design techniques
• Strong understanding of audio middleware and game industry trends
• Excellent communication skills
• Skilled in creating documentation
