Intuit Credit Karma is seeking a Staff Data Scientist II to revolutionize their recommendation engine in ad technology using machine learning and GenAI. This role involves technical leadership, mentoring, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and driving the development of AI-powered monetization strategies to enhance member experiences and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional teams to architect and implement machine learning systems
• Present and drive alignment with Senior Leadership on ad technology innovations
• Define and execute the technical vision for ML capabilities related to ad recommendations
• Design and develop large-scale AI systems
• Stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to data scientists and engineers

Requirements

• MS/PhD in a quantitative discipline with 10+ years of experience in data science, software engineering, or data architecture
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale machine learning systems
• Ability to architect and develop next-generation ML systems
• Deep understanding of current ML systems
• Strong background in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++)
