Job Description

Intuit Credit Karma is seeking an experienced Staff AI Scientist to develop cutting-edge credit risk AI/ML models for new lending products. This role involves full ownership of the model lifecycle, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the evolution of data and machine learning infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop credit risk AI/ML models
• Design, build, deploy, evaluate, and monitor models
• Collaborate with credit policy, product, and fraud risk teams
• Build data pipelines for feature generation and model development
• Ensure model fairness, interpretability, and compliance
• Contribute to data and machine learning infrastructure evolution
• Research and implement machine learning approaches

Requirements

• Advanced Degree (Ph.D. / MS) in a quantitative discipline
• 6+ years of experience in AI Science / Machine Learning
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience in fintech credit risk
• Experience with credit bureau, tax, and cash flow data
• Understanding of credit risk modeling concepts
• Ability to develop statistical understanding of datasets
• Expertise in data pipelines and machine learning frameworks
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
