Weedmaps is seeking a creative Product Designer to lead the modernization of their mobile app, focusing on blending marketplace, e-commerce, and social interaction models to enhance user experience and engagement. The role involves leading design from insight to execution, driving design language, and mentoring other designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mobile design for iOS and Android
• Modernize the Weedmaps app with cutting-edge mobile design
• Translate strategy into engaging experiences
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Brand leadership
• Build and refine the mobile design system
• Mentor designers and shape creative direction

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience with native mobile applications
• Experience designing large-scale marketplace, e-commerce, or social network products
• Mastery of modern mobile interaction patterns
• Strong visual craft, motion, and interaction design skills
• Ability to drive ambiguous initiatives and influence product strategy
• Understanding of consumer psychology and mobile commerce ecosystems
• Collaborative mindset
