Job Description

Weedmaps is seeking a highly analytical and operationally minded Vice President of Revenue to architect and scale a modern revenue engine for the cannabis ecosystem. This role will own the entire revenue lifecycle, from sales to customer success, and elevate the organization to world-class enterprise go-to-market excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead revenue strategy design and execution
  • Own the full revenue engine
  • Introduce enterprise selling methodologies
  • Build and manage revenue organization
  • Develop forecasting and compensation models
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Finance
  • Oversee pricing and monetization strategy
  • Drive sales enablement and training
  • Implement revenue dashboards and analytics
  • Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations
  • Evaluate new revenue streams
  • Hire and coach a multidisciplinary revenue team
  • Provide data-backed insights to leadership
  • Foster a culture of accountability
  • Implement scalable systems and automation
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

  • 10+ years in revenue leadership (software, SaaS, e-commerce, or ad-tech)
  • 5+ years in senior or executive roles
  • Experience building and scaling enterprise revenue organizations
  • Deep experience with CRM and RevOps infrastructure
  • Expertise in technical/solution selling
  • Proven success transforming teams to enterprise GTM
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently
