Job Description

Lumos is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance and maintain their cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and developer experience. The role involves automation, reliability, scalability, and security across all environments, working closely with development, security, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Automate deployment and rollback processes
• Optimize cloud resource utilization
• Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and caching
• Work with engineering teams to align DevOps strategies
• Promote continuous improvement through automation
• Provide mentorship on DevOps best practices

Requirements

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)
• Knowledge of build optimization tools
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Strong software development skills with coding experience (Python preferred)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues
• Understanding of security principles (IAM, encryption)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience in an agile development environment
