Job Description

Lumos is seeking a Head of Presales Engineering to lead and scale the presales team. This role involves building a high-performing team, establishing operational standards, driving technical win rates, and collaborating with various departments to secure strategic evaluations and scale repeatable execution.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, and mentor SEs
  • Stand up the SE operating system
  • Own demo and POV strategy
  • Drive early technical discovery
  • Partner with Sales leaders
  • Build field assets with Product Marketing
  • Enable partner co sell
  • Create feedback loop to Product and Engineering
  • Collaborate with RevOps

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B SaaS pre sales with 5+ years leading senior SEs
  • Identity or security domain fluency
  • Proven lift in technical win rate
  • Mastery of MEDDPICC
  • Operational rigor in KPI design
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
