Upwork is seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations to lead the strategy, narrative, and engagement efforts that shape how investors, analysts, and financial partners understand and value the company. This role involves building investor confidence, crafting a compelling equity story, and driving communication reflecting Upwork’s growth and vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic investor relations program
• Craft and refine investor messaging
• Partner with CFO on earnings preparation
• Serve as primary spokesperson with investors and media
• Build relationships with investors
• Manage investor relations infrastructure
• Lead competitor and market intelligence analysis

Requirements

• Proven success leading Investor Relations for a publicly traded company
• Deep understanding of capital markets and financial modeling
• Exceptional communication and executive presence
• Collaborative, cross-functional approach
• Integrity, curiosity, and passion for innovation
