Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the upkeep of vacation rental properties and ensuring guests have excellent experiences. This role involves leading a team of maintenance personnel, managing workflow, and maintaining property standards. Flexibility is required as the position is not a standard 9-to-5 job and may require work after hours, on weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a maintenance team
• Oversee daily maintenance operations
• Foster a collaborative work environment
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding
• Develop relationships with property owners
• Maintain company standards and metrics
• Contract outside professional services
• Manage unit work orders
• Manage a budget
• Maintain maintenance shops and vehicles
• Support team with escalated concerns
• Perform home maintenance
• Audit repairs
• Provide cross-coverage

Requirements

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, or vacation rental industry preferred
• 2-3 years maintenance experience
• Prior supervisory/management experience preferred
• Technical computer skills
• Reliable personal transportation
• Dependability and punctuality
• Self-motivation and teamwork skills
• Clear communication skills
