Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will travel between vacation rental properties performing general repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure exceptional guest and owner experiences. This role requires coordination with vendors, on-call coverage, and maintaining company standards for satisfaction and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance tasks and projects at multiple worksites
• Ensure homes are well-maintained with repairs and inspections
• Respond to guest maintenance issues
• Coordinate owner-approved maintenance
• Negotiate with third-party vendors
• Maintain company standards and metrics
• Participate in on-call coverage
• Maintain open communication with team members
• Assist colleagues and provide cross-coverage
• Maintain hot tubs
• Collect and remove trash
• Ensure follow through on assigned tasks
• Coordinate with service providers

Requirements

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, or vacation rental industry preferred
• 2 years of basic property maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of appliance repair, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and carpentry
• Tech-savvy with digital systems and mobile apps
• Excellent time management skills
• Highly responsive and reliable
• Reliable personal transportation
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Clear communication skills
