MERIT is seeking a Content Creator to join their Social team, responsible for ideating, producing, and editing engaging photo and video content for TikTok and Instagram. The role requires a strong understanding of short-form platform performance and a proven track record of taking video projects from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end content creation from concept to delivery
• Create iPhone and camera-based content
• Edit short-form video with strong timing and pacing
• Ensure content aligns with brand identity
• Translate briefs into engaging video concepts
• Stay updated on short-form video trends
• Collaborate with the team to execute ideas
• Contribute ideas to content calendar
• Support CRM and paid media teams with visual assets
• Apply light color correction and retouching

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in content creation or related field
• Proven track record of video project delivery for TikTok and Instagram
• Proficient in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut) and photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop)
• Strong camera skills (iPhone and DSLR/mirrorless)
• Familiar with color correction and mobile optimization
• Understanding of social trends and platform best practices
• Passion for beauty industry and storytelling
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to take direction and work autonomously
• Previous experience at fashion or beauty brand preferred
