Job Description

BillionToOne is seeking a driven Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist with a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License to oversee their growing CLIA team responsible for end-to-end processing of cancer blood samples. This onsite position involves daily supervision, managing direct reports, contributing to process improvement, performing assays, and ensuring data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical laboratory daily supervision
• Hold General Supervisor delegation
• Manage CLIA direct reports
• Contribute to process improvement projects
• Perform clinical laboratory assays
• Perform quality control studies
• Verify instrument performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences
• 4+ years of CLS experience in a clinical setting
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology protocols
• Knowledge of Google Docs, Excel, and LIMS systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter and team player
