Job Description

BillionToOne is seeking a contract Clinical Laboratory Scientist with a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License to perform UNITY, a non-invasive prenatal test for detecting inherited disorders from maternal blood samples. This role involves end-to-end processing of samples in a high-complexity CLIA setting with flexible part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory assays
• Performs quality control studies
• Verifies instrument performance
• Contributes to troubleshooting, training, and process improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences
• 0-2 years of CLS experience
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
• Knowledge of Google Docs, Word, Excel, and LIMS systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter and team player
