Job Description

BillionToOne is seeking a driven Clinical Laboratory Scientist with a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License to perform UNITY, a non-invasive prenatal test (NIPT) for detecting inherited disorders from maternal blood samples. The role involves end-to-end processing of samples in a high-complexity CLIA setting and contributing to R&D, tech transfer, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory assays
• Performs quality control studies
• Verifies instrument performance
• Contributes to R&D, tech transfer, troubleshooting, training, and validations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences
• 1-2 years of CLS experience
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (ASCP, CGMBS, or generalist)
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology protocols (DNA extraction, PCR)
• Knowledge of Google Docs, Word, Excel, and LIMS systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter and team player
