Job Description

BillionToOne is seeking a Revenue Cycle/Medical Collections Associate to focus on collections and appeals from various payers. This remote position requires a candidate with experience in medical collections, knowledge of billing accuracy, and the ability to follow up on claims and process appeals.

Responsibilities

• Verify claim submission accuracy
• Review and update patient demographics
• Process payor requests and claims
• Investigate and appeal denied services
• Process and track appeals
• Maximize billing system utilization
• Review aging and denial reports
• Comply with billing legislation
• Maintain department cash and DSO goals

Requirements

• 4+ years of medical collections experience
• Experience with the appeals process
• Knowledge of medical benefit levels
• Understanding of coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
