Job Description

Auctane is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer (Solutions Engineer) to work with clients, identify their needs, and develop customized business solutions using Auctane's products and services. This role requires a strong understanding of the small parcel shipping industry and involves close collaboration with the sales team to provide operational and technical support throughout the pre-sales and implementation process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary logistics, operational and technical sales point of contact
• Develop logistical, operational, and technical solutions
• Leverage the ShipMatch process
• Build and deliver customized analysis and proposals
• Demonstrate understanding of Auctane and partner technology solutions
• Analyze and present shipping data
• Maintain understanding of carrier and technology solutions
• Collaborate with other departments
• Communicate technical gaps and opportunities

Requirements

• API and application development skills
• 3+ years of technical SaaS selling experience
• Experience traveling in the field
• 3+ years of shipping/eCommerce industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Strong Excel/Google sheets skills preferred
• Strong persuasion skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Deep understanding of the ecommerce fulfillment market
