Job Description

This entry-level role supports the daily operation, maintenance, and service of LightEdge’s datacenter environments, providing foundational experience in hardware deployment, troubleshooting, inventory control, and customer support under the supervision of senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot datacenter hardware
• Respond to support calls and incidents
• Maintain accurate inventory
• Assist with shipping and receiving
• Support physical deployments
• Collaborate with project managers
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Coordinate with vendors
• Assist with datacenter tours
• Support audits
• Follow safety and security procedures

Requirements

• Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in a datacenter or technical support environment
• Experience with ITSM tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with cabling standards
• Experience working with vendors
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Adaptability and willingness to learn
