LightEdge is seeking a Compliance Engineer to join their Cloud Center of Excellence team. This role focuses on supporting customers in achieving infrastructure compliance within AWS and Azure environments, providing expert guidance, documenting improvements, and executing remediations. The position requires strong communication skills and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environments for vulnerabilities
• Assess customer compliance requirements
• Implement and validate compliance monitoring tools
• Provide expert guidance on public cloud compliance
• Troubleshoot and engineer custom solutions
• Respond to customer support calls
• Collaborate with other departments
• Document customer interactions
• Prioritize and complete assigned duties
• Engage with AWS or Microsoft Support
• Make presentations and attend meetings
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Stay abreast of latest AWS and Azure security offerings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Security or related discipline
• 2+ years’ experience in AWS and Azure cloud environments
• One current Public Cloud Certification (AWS or Azure)
• Understanding of public cloud security best practices
• Excellent security analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Initiative and problem-solving skills
